Title: Cherry Master Help Post by: TastyHoagie on February 04, 2010, 07:28:18 PM Hello,
I have a table top cherry master with screen problems. I am looking to buy this machine but don't know if it is going to cost a lot in parts. I am skilled but was wondering on difficulty level and if any special tools are required. Thanks For the help! I was thinking that.... So I want to go install a square15" LCD flat panel. I am good at fabrication so fitment wont be an issue. Do I take out the whole tube/chassis assemble and discard? Most important what kind of card do I need? Any hot leads on where to get one? Thanks! Title: Re: Cherry Master Help Post by: Slot Docs on February 06, 2010, 04:16:35 AM you need a CGA for the cherry master and most of the lcd displays are backward compatible which means they should run on CGA mode
but I would check to make sure with the one you decide to by as not all of them will. TH You just have to change one of the three color drivers on the neck board, they're so cheap I just change all three (red, blue and green) Title: Re: Cherry Master Help Post by: TastyHoagie on June 28, 2010, 08:01:05 PM Any instructions on driver replacement?I can see um and understand about the tube voltage ...etc Thanks!
