Title: Draw Poker error message
Post by: Cheryl on February 16, 2010, 02:02:19 AM
We have a "coin in time out" message on 1982 IGT Draw poker machine.  It is model #705.  This machine was given to us and was working for about a day.  Any help of what to do or where to find a manual?

Welcome to NLG, Cheryl!

That error can be caused by a few different things.  Can you post a few pictures of the inside and outside of your machine?  That will help identify the model and type of your machine so we can help you.

If it's a slant top or bartop drop-in unit with a removable coin in assembly, make sure it's seated correctly.

Thanks, we reset it and all is good again.  I read some of the other posts and figured out where to reset on the side.  We didn't have a key for the reset but we do for the front so we got it.  Where would I be able to find a manual for it?

There's a set of PE+ manuals in the "Submit a new File" (http://www.newlifegames.net/uploads/up/upload.php) section right now.  The key for the jackpot reset switch is a common key -- you should be able to purchase one for under $3 from one of the vendors listed at the top of the page, or by posting a message in the classifieds section, and it'll be good to have one on hand as you'll need it to adjust some settings and, of course, to reset the machine after a jackpot.
