Title: Wii Game backup software scam Post by: Bobodude on February 19, 2010, 04:31:59 PM Having a Wii and buying games can be a expensive proposition. It makes it worse when the grandkids scratch the crap out of the game disks. So I was looking online for a backup solution. I took a chance on GameCopyWizard.com. WRONG. These guys have a real slick website with the support section with a real service tickets and all. I get this emial, after shelling out $30, that directs me to their member web site. There you download GAMECOPYWIZARD 2.3. What a scam. The slimeball copied a public domain copy of DVD Decriptor and put his name on it. Obviously I tried it on 3 different computers and it wouldn't recognize a Wii game if it saw one. His member website was suppose to have all kinds of tutorials but it ended up being a 3 step proceedure, 1. Install software, 2. Copy Wii disk and 3. Play disk in Wii. What a bullshit operation. Now we play the refund game. He had a link to a refund if you were not satisfied. A week later ZIP. Now we gotta do the protest thing with the Visa. Damn. We need to publicly whip the crap out of these types of people out there that are just plain dishonest. Has anybody found a legit program that will copy Wii games for legal backups? Stay away from this guy.

And its not that hard to play or make copies(yes, you need to own the orginal ) . Regarless if you have Ver. 4.2 ,4.1,or less than 4.1. I recall seeing a section here about Homebrew...Thats a great start. I have a tutorial that teaches you step by step, but not sure if I can post it :103- But,I'll ask
