got system error. removed the eproms, started the machine and blank display. put the eprom back and still blank. I'm going backwards.
I'm a old pinball guy trying to learn slots. I have mainly worked on IGT s-plus. I'm not real clear on the birth chips. is this a CDS thing.
Were can I get information on CDS's.
Thanks for your help, guys like me have no chance without you folks on the forums.
Mark

which game is it? and what is the gdd number on the hard drive. should be a label on the hard drived enclosure or open enclosure and look on hard drive itself for gdd label or on both. the gdd number and the chip game numbers work hand in hand with each other. also a system error doesnt mean you need the birth chips. they are usually needed for denomination related issues. but if you put in any other chips in the machine. i.e. any birth chips n they are wrong then yes you will need to find the correct ones for machine to work again. you said you put chips back in and get blank display. check to make sure you dont have one or more of them upside down. pin 1( little notch on one side of chip) facing direction of the little raised circuit board located next to where chips go. also make sure chip u63 is in the left side of u64 chip. should be 2nd n 3rd sockets. one of your chips will have a u63 on it and the other a u64. also make sure you put the main board back correctly. it goes into the guide rails and slides back and firmly seats into backplane board. you can feel it go into the sockets when correct. if you had video before tking the chips out you should still have video with error messge after putting chips back into slot if every thing is put back the same. your system error could be hard drive related. but see if you can get it back to where you have video and then you need to go into the setup menu to try n find out whatr the error is in history selection. you do have a reset key i hope. if so when powering up just turn key toward you and leave it in fthe foeward position.

I concur with Paul on the V1.15 D002.  It is definately 9 line Bingo.  Paul and I have been going round and round working on that.

NICEEEEEEEE!!! You wouldnt happen to have V1.15 D002 births?  I have a easy street setup coming from Paul (thanks again Paul) but it would be nice to have the 9 line bingo complete.
