Title: How long does it take to allocate items on an order
Post by: Foster on February 25, 2010, 04:20:16 AM
I cant believe it taking 3 days to put an order together.

All I ordered was tickets, button legends for the S+ and the 2 sets of Clear Caps for the buttons for the S+ and S2000.
It is not a vendor or member here.
I bet most of you that ordered from them know who I am talking about though.

I think you got it.

They must be printing the legends. Must be a slow printer.

Maybe we should do a group buy of 1,000,000 tickets with something about NLG and For Amusement Only no cash value sorta statement on them.

Its not the order that takes such a long time to pull its the calculation of the mystery shipping.

I will say this I only buy from them what I can't seem to get from a vendor on here.
Oh I could have probably gotten the tickets here but I had to make the $25 minimum.

Do what I do Foster!
I order stuff, buy stuff all the time and completely forget about it,
then when it comes in - I'm totally freaking surprised! :204-
It's like Christmas time all over!  :96-

I got tickets off Flea-baey and they were priced right. I will not order from Happ, matter of principal.

It was posted somewhere before that it was always best
to call the shipping girl over there first and make sure what
what the actual shipping charges were before clicking the final Pay button.
That way there were no surprises...  :58- PITA really. :30-
I learned after the first order I placed with them... :25-

I placed my first order with them last week. I was kinda gunshy after reading everything here but decided to take a chance. Maybe I got lucky that everything was in stock and mystery shipping was not too bad. My complete order shipped about two hours after I placed the order.

I tried to talk with them at the G2E show. When I DIDN'T have a credit card between my teeth and ready to order $1,000,000 in parts they looked at me like I had just shit on his shoe. They don't care about the little guy."Willcall" for locals? NOT A CHANCE! If I buy a bag of 100 LED lamps it will cost me to have them shipped 15 miles  $15.00!!!
HAPP-CRAP doesnt care about you, so take the business elsewhere, they wont miss us anyways.

On the other hand, Betson was willing to sell me anything I wanted, gave me a catalog at the show with "Show Specials" and even extended the discount thru Jan 2010.
They didnt care if i ordered ONE box of #86 lamps or a crate of LCD monitors....I was still a customer.
Betson is not "Giving away the store" but their prices are good and stock is too....

Just my 2 cents worth, your mileage will vary.....

Kirk, thanks for the tip about Betson. I've never ordered from them, but I will give them a try.

Well I called today to find out why my order was on hold.
Some one forgot to put info on the web site or catalog that one item is dropped shipped from another supplier.
The nice lady changed the dropped shipped item to a stocked item.
I should see my order saturday or monday.
