Title: HELP with Cleopatra
Post by: delma on February 27, 2010, 01:51:22 AM
I've purchased a old game (IGT upright 3902 board lock n'roll ) I have removed the Lock n Roll game  and I am trying to install Cleopatra game but she is giving me trouble.  I am getting the following error message:

"Coin-in Jam
Options Verification Required"

See pics a attached.

I've already disabled the hopper not to mention the machine didn't have a hopper in it.

What am I doing wrong?  What do I need to do to get Cleopatra to play?

Thank you in advance for your expertise.

I had this issue once and it turned out that my door I/O card was loose and needed to be reseated. You may want to try that first.

Wayne I don't know how in the hell you know so much. I just tryed to put a Game King into this same error, removed the hopper, it didn't care, still played, unplugged coin comarritor, same results still played, ( had credits on machine )  Thought I got Wayne this time  no Guess I didn't   unplugged main plug going to coin comparitor and coin optics, What did I get, COIN IN JAM error.   :200- :200-

Wayne is right on target, this is not a "Hopper" issue.......

Delma,
If you have a S2000 in your collection, borrow the jumper plug from it and try it in the I-game....error will go away...

Yes it will, unless you already have one installed and your actual problem is that your I/O card is bad, or have a harness issue.  But this is likely your problem as Wayne stated.

I charge $100 for the plug and I can ship tomorrow via Parcel Post.  Packaging and shipping is $50.  I will send you a PayPal for $150...sound good?

:97- Nah...it's free.  Es gratis por mi Tica amiga.

You can always solder the three wires together, if you need the machine right away that is.

Thanks,
Wayne

Yes, the other software may not require the jumper...

Thanks,

Ok  so the lock/roll is ok without  a jumper  others may need it? when I go in shop later i,ll look maybe my games still have coin mech in them  I know i have some where wires on door are tied together
Thanks

I would first look to see if the jumper is there, the I/O card was apparently checked already, so it may be missing the jumper plug or have a broken wire etc.  I'm sure Joel has checked for broken wires.  In cases where I am making a machine coinless permanently, I solder the three wires, that the plug jumps, together.

Thanks,
Wayne

yes they don,t use coins  down there so we removed hoppers and mechs if not on door to , but we  checked games with lock/roll,s  didn,t know they weren,t going to keep them that way ,But like i said  we have many games where the coin mech wires are tied together  I think thats the best and fasted route
