Title: 4 reel assembly causing a 40 error code
Post by: BALLIGATOR1973 on February 28, 2010, 03:07:29 PM
Hi, After replacing a 3 reel assembly for a 4 reel assembly, I have a 70 code ( reel initialization problem), a ram clear did not clear it, I put the 3 reel assembly back an,d it worked properly...

Why should the 4 reel assembly cause that?
Any dip switch on the board to change?

Any clue might save my machine...

Thanks

Cyril

Is this for a Bally 5500 or a Bally 6000?

 Hi,

Thanks for your replies.

I have tested programs which used to work on a 4 reel assembly and it worked. Meaning that my programs were not for a four reel game...
