Title: Cocks (Cox) Cable TV.....complete buffoons!
Post by: KirkLasVegas on March 02, 2010, 11:57:22 PM
Now I really dispise cable TV systems and the companies that run them. The misses wanted it, so I called these assholes and ordered it. The BASIC 80 channels, no HD boxes,no DVR NONE of their shit in my house.
Roscoe was due to show up between 8:00AM and 10:00AM...simple eh? guess not!
10:00 arrives and no Roscoe. I call Cocks Cable, seems the idiot couldn't "Turn it on" from the street, so he simply CLOSED the order! no call, no notice, no nothing!
I call and demand a supervisor, i get one (real winner). He says they called my WIFE yesterday and she said they could not come in the house, so they simply closed the order (Lie #1)
I told this jerkoff that it was * ME * that told him they dont need to come in.He says it's mandatory so they can check the "operation" of the cable..yeah right....
He demanded to know how MANY outlets would be in operation.I told him he is a UTILITY and when the power company wants a head-count of electrical devices, the water company wants to know how many toilets and the phone comapny want s to know how many phones, I will be happy to discuss the number of TV's in the house!
He insists they have to check at least ONE outlet. OK..so I installed a TV on the side of the house, folding table, and a lawn chair.
They tried to tell me since the cable was not in from the house to the terminal it required a "Professional" install (not free).I told the supervisor that I was filing a written complaint with Clark County's Franchise officer and THEY will have Cocks come out and install the required cable from the house to the terminal.A phone call to Clark County paid off! they arrived like it was the fire dept, cable got pulled, have good signal to the side of the house and I refused to sign ANYTHING after the job was done.Told them if they had a problem they can yank it all out, or better yet I WILL!

Wife is now enjoying her FREE installation :)

These jackels think people are lemmings and stupid.....wrong assumption :)

Your probably on some police watch list now as they will think you have a meth-lab, grow-op, bawdy house, etc inside that you didn't want anyone to see......

How much would it cost to get a gaming license for his class?

It's not the license that costs - it's the army of private investigators going 12-20 years back in your past history to see if you forgot to report a nickel's taxable income in 2001, or shook hands with some Italian guy in 1988. Everyone says their mill grinds much, much finer than an IRS audit and the investigation cost can easily exceed $1 million if you've been in business (any business) a while or spent much time out of the USA.
