Title: VERY noisy reel motor Post by: cowboygames on March 03, 2010, 01:31:31 PM I thought I read something awhile back on fixing noisy reel motors, but couldn't find the thread. Anyway, I just picked up a Super Spin Sizzling 7s and the bonus reel was so noisy you almost couldn't hear the sound of the game playing. Was going to replace the reel and remembered something about that thread so I took the reel apart and wrapped a small piece of electrical tape around the shaft of the motor. Pressed reel back on and secured with the washer and E clip(sometimes known as an "oh shit" clip when they fly across the room) and I'll be damned if I can even hear the thing running now. If I couldn't see it turning I wouldn't know it was working. Hope this helps someone
