Title: An open challenge to all members! Post by: channelmaniac on September 16, 2008, 03:00:53 AM As most of you are aware, I have my own forum section for repair logs. Well, with this new board layout there is now a NEW section for all NLG users to keep their own repair logs!
NLG Users Repair Log's (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?board=76.0) The challenge is this: Jump in, create your own threads, and share your knowledge! It doesn't have to be component level board repairs. It can be troubleshooting various wiring harnesses in slots or even how to repair problems in mechanicial slots! Everyone that digs in and fixes their own games (or games for others as a repair service) has knowledge to share! Title: Re: An open challenge to all members! Post by: channelmaniac on January 15, 2009, 09:46:19 PM Come on folks!
This isn't just restricted to you repairing things. How about posting repair and troubleshooting techniques? How about modifications? It also isn't restricted to slots. How about pinball, pachinko/pachislo, 8 liner, or arcade games? Shop gear? Power supplies? This would be a great spot for centralizing that knowledge! RJ Title: Re: An open challenge to all members! Post by: cfh on January 16, 2009, 01:25:44 AM I'm pretty much already doing this but in the Wms Reel forum.
anytime i fix something that is "unusual", i post it there. Title: Re: An open challenge to all members! Post by: 1inxs on July 19, 2009, 03:57:17 PM I'm new to the NLG forum. I'll be happy to post with my Bally model 809 issues as I become able to. From what I've seen of this forum, the NLG Users Repair Log's thread could be and should be quite full of useful information. I beleive something as simple as a light replacement or lubrication technique would benefit others. Thanks for starting this thread and I hope to contribute soon.
