Title: Coin Routing Problem S2000
Post by: ichogger on March 06, 2010, 05:26:47 AM
I have an S2000 vision nickel machine. When I feed it nickels, they count towards credits but get routed into the hole in the bottom of the machine for collection under the machine instead of going into the hopper. Anyone have an easy fix?

Thanks,

Chuck

This can occur if the machine thinks the hopper is full or the hopper limit is set to $0.00!

Make sure coins are not touching the brass screw mounted in one of the holes on the front of the hopper
There is a orange with white tracer connected to it.
Also check your limits under machine options and be sure hopper is set to value of $0.05 if the coin denom is a nickel.

If that does not solve the problem you can unplug the divertor solenoid.
It is mounted vertically below the coin comparator and optics.
when it is unplugged and the solenoid is released that will allow coins to fall into the hopper after being accepted by the machine.
Any coins that the coin comparator does not like will still be dropped into tray.

That was it, the limit was set to 0000000.00 as it was on handpay before I got the ticket printer going. Thanks again.
