Title: Treasure Tunnel 150
Post by: Randy0777 on October 21, 2008, 04:17:44 AM
Since I'm working on two different models I figured make two different post to keep it easier. When I first turn on the machinethis is what happends.
The reels do a slow spin...Then it says loading the game... the reels spin normal... then the insert coin comes up on the disply.
I was getting a few DBV errors, which I wil play with later. So I turned off the DBV from the red DIP switches on the board(see pic). The other error I'm getting is Insert coin. The light on the comparitor was on so i figured it was ok...but the coins kept falling back in the tray. I swithed one from a IGT machine and now they fall in the hopper, but still will not register :103- or the error will not go away. So I swithed the board from the other machine(the one on the door pic 09) and still the same.

After talking to Ben (alot  :3- ) at Fannini Slots I ordered a new coin comp. Everthing we tried ,we could not get it to accept a coin. Well, the new coin Comp. did not fix the problem  :25-  So I switched everthing I could (things from the 300 ) and still the same. The wires and coin comp between the two are different so only thing I never replaced was the wires from the comp in the door....which I will soon

You need a inhibited coin mech for the sigma, not the one you have pictured, and I believe 12 volt as well

This is the wiring pin out for the coin mech harness where it connects to the main door harness.

This is the other end of the short coin mech harness connecting to the coin mech and
a photo of the actual coin mech itself that I use in my Sigma Treasure Tunnel machine...

Shut the machine OFF. Reach into the space just above the CPU bd.Unplug the large white plug at the back right corner. Plug it back in a couple times. Now  turn ON. Any success?

I don't know if you've checked the coin optics yet, (In Optics and Drop Optics) but the upper and lower coin optics
are always suspect on these sigma's. From what you've described it sounds like 1 or both of the optic aren't sending
the 5vdc sync pulse to the MPU
