Title: S+ Button Questions Post by: triplediamond on March 11, 2010, 01:32:29 PM I'm doing a S+ Square top to a round top conversion and I was wondering if you could replace the square buttons with round ones,I have been looking at button sets at Happ.com. Are the round sets compatable with the S+ machine ? Any info would be greatly appreciated......

There's small plastic black extrusions on the back of the buttons that goes into two holes on the deck to keep the button from turning around. I've found they didn't match the holes so I took a sharp exacto knife and a dremel tool to remove them. Now the round button sits flat on the deck like it should! I'm sure some places like Suzy-Happps sells them for S2000's or S+'s but I haven't looked. I'm very wary of their mystery shipping charges. Advice, should you decide to buy from them (providing they have them) make sure you call the shipping dept and ask for a shipping total for your order before you finalize it. To avoid the headaches, call around at our vendors listed on the top at every website page here on NLG or place a want ad in the "Classifieds" section of NLG and I'm sure one of the vendors might have some round buttons to fit your machine! |
