Title: Bally 6000 Error code 31 & 55
Post by: time2relax on March 13, 2010, 11:39:38 AM
I swapped out the power supply and my machine came back to life. Now I am getting error code 31 and 55. There were no problems before the power supply went down. What should I be doing? Thanks.

Since this is posted in the video slots section, perhaps it is a video slot, but sounds like a spinning reel (stepper) slot .  If it is, the 55 is because your bill validator didn't initialize, remove it, and the cash box and reinsert them, see if it cycles, wait for it to finish then close the door.  if the 31 remains, check for an obstruction at the hopper optics.

Thanks,
Wayne

If you use the machine without coins, you can take the hopper out all together and sell it for extra $.  Just place a paper clip in the holes for the hopper in the 6th and 10th hole counting from top to bottom left to right.  Thats what we do here in TX.
