Title: What is different about this machine?
Post by: OhioGaming on March 13, 2010, 01:39:23 PM
First time I have seen this but can you tell what the oddity is about this machine?

EDIT:

If no one correctly guesses before Sunday evening I will post it.

BTW .. if someone is driving by this way it is avialable for $250.00. Otherwise I am going to part it out since it worth more that way.

I have two guesses.

First guess is it is not a 16 inch top nor a 9 inch top.

And second (and maybe most important) it's NOT in my game room.

EDIT ------ OK I lied - I think I figured it out.  It IS a 9 inch (crop top) but it's slanted like a 16 inch top.  All of our crop tops are flat on top.

I'll give it a try. Even though I never owned an S+

Looks like the cabinet was originally pre-card reader bar. The top glass looks like Slant-Top glass.
I've seen those candles before, just can't remember where? Maybe tournament machine?

Yeah, on the 16" Top not the 9" Top. I think ashyron got it.

Glad you all put the thinking caps on.

It is a 9" chop top award glass in a top box like the 16" machines.

First time I have ever seen one.

You're 1/4 of the way there!
What's it for?

I was thinking... :128- :129- ...I can't imagine taking a course in med
school to learn the difference between stools...
I mean, are they studying various samples? ew!
I just don't see the fun in viewing that with a mini-cam?  :86- :40- :123-
Definitely not my personal choice for a line of work...

It looks like a fiber cable used for simulating door closed ?

Title: Re: What is different about this machine?
Post by: stayouttadabunker on March 14, 2010, 09:50:57 PM
It's fiber optics cable Yes!!
But for the door? nope!
The fiber optics cable is for... hint, hint....an Supreme logic board.
It connects between the Supreme board and a CON2F.

The tool in the middle is made by AMP.
It for squeezing the tabs on the side of a Molex connector pin and
the plunger on the back of it pushes the pin out of the housing hole!
I used it extensively on your Mikohn display harness!  :71-

Igt boards have a dual port that that cable would fit, were we supposed to guess the extraction tool too?

Thanks,
Wayne

Title: Re: What is different about this machine?
Post by: ROCKET on March 15, 2010, 01:08:08 PM
yes the two pictures were more than a simple guess ??

a single picture of a item next time would be fine ??  :244- :244- :244- :244-

as far as the other suspected uses ?? we will leave that BEHIND US !

TOOLS are always fun to figure out there application & use ??

a specific part can be a proprietary part we may never guess ??

a interesting slot -- gambling device -- trade simulator -- would be cool to figure out !

thanks to Ken at OHIO GAMING for starting this thread !! it should bring up some real unique tools -items -- slots -?
dual purpose tools or weapons lol

ahh the cheat detecter ?? may be a post to get into ??

I have a few items that are intersting for slots and STORE USE ! :58- :58- :58- :58- :58- :58-
to walk away with the cart load without the bells & whistles going off ??

Now that's cold -- almost as cold as a certain anatomical part in Salem, Massachusetts. :215- Besides, even though the enhancer (and matching Johnson) might be small, it's large enough to be seen across the country. :200-  :99-  :5-    :97- :97-
