Title: error Post by: gadiel on March 16, 2010, 05:55:00 AM does anybody happen to know how to fix this error (restart closure mb)----its on an igt s2000
Title: Re: error Post by: Foster on March 16, 2010, 06:04:47 AM Please post pictures, what did you or the machine do just before the error occurred.
The more details given makes troubleshooting easier. Not sure about the restart part - "closure mb" means main and BV doors are closed. Title: Re: error Post by: jay on March 17, 2010, 02:40:40 AM On my PE+ I get restart closure right after I close the door and restart the machine.
Its more of an audit message than a error. Goes away after I play the first coin. Not sure what MB means. Is the game playing ok ? Title: Re: error Post by: cowboygames on March 17, 2010, 05:53:06 AM closure m is the main door. I beleive the B has to do with bill validator door or cash can not in place

Sometimes MPU boards have locking trays and I've also seen some machines with magnetic proximity door sensors glued to them. Could "closure mb" mean that? :103- With the "mb" as being understood to mean "motherboard"? Title: Re: error Post by: gadiel on March 17, 2010, 03:29:52 PM i found the solution it needed a small little paper stuck on the sensor door since the machines i bought didnt have a lock ...
Title: Re: error Post by: stayouttadabunker on March 17, 2010, 03:38:02 PM Thanks for reporting the fix :3- :3-
But how did this piece of paper cause a door error code to pop up? :129- Title: Re: error Post by: gadiel on March 17, 2010, 03:43:31 PM well the paper is in the middle of the metal latch that touches the back metal part it sounds complicated but its not i would post picture :72-

Sometimes MPU boards have locking trays and I've also seen some machines with magnetic proximity door sensors glued to them. Could "closure mb" mean that? :103- With the "mb" as being understood to mean "motherboard"? Closure MB is a combined reporting for Closure Main Door and Closure Bill Door, not motherboard, especially since it is the MPU board on the tray and not the motherboard. :200- I am pretty sure that the proximity sensors that you spoke of are for certain special games that have added security to notify IGT if the trays are removed. (Even though I do not think the casino has the tray keys on these?) They also know when the door is opened as well on these! :79- CH :95- |
