Title: Bally 5500 coin comparitor
Post by: B-52BadByron on March 16, 2010, 11:47:01 PM
Will the model CC-16-D .100 coin comparitor work on a Bally 5500 slot?  I want to use this as a 25c comparitor. If this is not compatable please tell me a model which will work.

You need a CC 16-D 24 volt for a Bally 5500 or a IGT S+.

How can I tell if the comparitor is 24v?  The comparitors on my IGT and Bally don't show a voltage.

If I'm right Bunker posted if the two wires going to the small plug on your comparitor are  Gray it's 24 volt

It's a good tip actually,
A lot of times people are selling coin comps on ebazy but they don't say what the voltages are...
I used to look for the gray wires for the 24V CC's.
Green wires usually meant 12 or 13volt CC's which are usually for S2000's.
