Title: Need info on an IGT Dice Game
Post by: ucanwin on March 20, 2010, 02:50:59 PM
Hi,
Can anyone help me find a replacement board or program chips for this IGT Dice Game????? My game is a credit only machine, but this machine was also available with a hopper. Information regarding making this machine a payout machine would also be of interest.
Any information on this machine would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Jerry

I'm not going to be too much help here... but the dice game may not be an IGT game, although the ID tag  states otherwise.  Are there any mfg   I.D.  stamppings  inside on the circuit board(s) ? ...   I think Sircoma /  IGT  made a video dice. Didn't do well...so you won't see too many or any at all.

I had a couple of the dice games that look  similar to yours.  I don't remember who made the game.   The basic  "play"  was:  your quarters bought  "credit"... you could place your bets with odds...and then  push the  "play"  or  "shoot the dice"  button... the  kicker would   "throw"  the dice to the back of the play field... a bar would bring the dice forward to the  front center.  There were "readers"  underneath  the dice and would award you your wins  /  or not.

As far as programs or boards or chips... good luck.  I know allot of the early electronics on some of the games were actually "hard wired"  circuits.  Not overly sophisticated compared to today's game boards.

I believe there's a couple  NLG  members  here that may recognize the game you have and may have some leads on help.

Well, looking at KLOV's list there is a Cal Omega gaming machine of the same name but no year or picture and checking KLOV's IGT listing they show a "TV Dice" game in 1981, so it may be an IGT product.
But again, not too much help.
