Both have a nudge feature and "spin till ya win" too. Lots of action and fun.

Volcano or Tidal Wave. Bonus Sizzling 7's or just plain old Sizzling 7's. Title: Re: Top 5 or 10 most desirable S-Plus games kits for you collection Post by: Foster on March 28, 2010, 03:37:02 AM I only have the strips for the Double Spin Double Diamond and Five Times Pay.
I like the idea of the game They are fun to play. Except they made the cherry pay left to right. Title: Re: Top 5 or 10 most desirable S-Plus games kits for you collection Post by: StatFreak on March 28, 2010, 04:04:07 AM I have Double Spin 5x Pay, Tidal Wave and Volcano. I don't like the white noise that they used for the last two, but of the two, I find Tidal Wave to be the more enjoyable because it respins as many times as it takes to get a winner. Volcano respins only once and if you don't hit anything you get the booby prize for the single Volcano symbol. I also prefer the artwork of Tidal Wave to that of Volcano.
Double Spin 5x pay is fun. It sort of comes under my listing of "Any 5 Times Pay game", but I agree that the double spins ought to have their own listing. My negative comment about them is the same as that of Volcano: they only spin once. With these games, it's not the loss that bothers me, it's the cutoff music. In the case of the double spins, you get music instead of white noise, but it rarely plays long enough to enjoy the tune like the spin 'till you win games. I found only one or two tunes that "work" with the double spins because of the fact that they only play the first few notes each time and almost never get through the song. The reason that I listed Coral Reef, but not 4th of July is that in my limited experience (YMMV), I hardly ever hit any seven combinations, including mixed sevens, when I had the kit installed. Coral Reef has lower prizes and hits more often. I like the artwork better, too. I now stick with the regular versions of RWB for my patriotic thrills. :96- :72- :72- Just my 2 cents after playing them a while. SF :31- Title: Re: Top 5 or 10 most desirable S-Plus games kits for you collection Post by: coorslight115 on March 28, 2010, 11:48:25 AM I have the double diamond double spin and have the spin music set to "youre in the money" tune . It plays long enough to hear. But it does not pay for one cherry. hard to get use to. :96-

One cherry on reel 2 does not pay though. :60- All true. "Any position" single and double cherry pays give away huge amounts of money. They had to reduce the cherry pays to compensate for the double spin option. Even in regular games, there are usually only one or two cherries per reel for games with any cherry pays because having more would simply pay out too much money. |
