I love mine... :wa :136- :136- :wa

It's fast and does everything I need.

Software is updated almost every month and the device support is very good.

I just bought it and starting to read the instructions. Any thing I should look out for?

I hope to start backing up my eproms by this weekend.

Thanks
Blake

Yeah, don't put the eproms in backwards!  :200- :25- :30- :72-

You'll need to buy a UV chip eraser also...

looks good and a lot cheaper than the EETools one, and it's made by...

you guessed it...

EETOOLS!

I spent $110 on mine, and I thought it was a little high at that price, but I needed one that day.

You can check fleabay, also.

Since I was successful in backing up the vision files I am now going to copy my first chips.  :79-
Lets see if I can get this done without letting the smoke out of the chips  :98-

Wish me luck.

Any feed back on how I should file the different games I have ?

Thanks

Blake

OK I downloaded the software from the web site and installed my first chip. I got no smoke but are these chips suppose to glow orange when you copy them.  :103-

Just joking  :208-

It appears I have successfully backed up one complete game.  :3- :3- :3- :3- :3- :3-

Thanks For all the help. Now I just need to organize these so I can recall them when I want.

Any Suggestions?

A UV eraser

How expensive would it be to make your own?  Buy a UV bulb and put it in a cardboard box.

Why not make one using plywood ?  Ron I have all the power tools you would need. You know the eraser I have holds about 50 chips, if your going to make your own might as well do a bang up job!!

Yea the one you have is pretty nice.  I was thinking a cardboard box with no bottom on it and lined with aluminum foil for good measure.  Then you can have as big as one as you want  :96-

PS - I had a big long reply typed up and the internet went down so I had to start over.  That's all I could remember writing. :71- :52-
