Where should I get chips from and any chips better than others? Thanks Blake Title: Re: What are the best chips to burn games on? Post by: Foster on March 31, 2010, 03:07:54 AM Base is 27C4096 or 27C4002

Post by: StatFreak on March 31, 2010, 11:47:18 AM Buzz and I have been using a vendor in China called buyICnow.com and have always gotten clean chips with no stickers or bent pins. I haven't found a bad chip yet and his prices are reasonable in most cases. They don't come in tubes, but are pressed into foam and well packed.
It still a good idea to shop around a bit, however, since the price of any particular type of chip may be higher or lower on any given day. <ADD> Blake, it appears that you are in roughly the same general area of the desert as we are, so you can expect an order from this vendor to arrive two weeks after they ship it. It usually takes them two to five days to ship from the time that you place your order. YMMV, of course. They give you a tracking number which is good on both the Hong Kong international shipment site and the USPS site, so you will know when it gets here and when to expect delivery. |
