Title: My Intermediate Slots Post by: eis_slots on April 11, 2010, 02:12:18 AM Just thought I would share my "mini" slots with you. For those who haven't seen them before there only 18 1/2" wide and 19" deep by 41" tall. There off River Boats.

For those who haven't seen them before there only 18 1/2" wide and 19" deep by 41" tall. There off River Boats. Dave It's interesting :103- In pictures they look like full size machines. Kinda cool looking. Thanks for sharing. Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: eis_slots on April 11, 2010, 03:40:52 PM I guess if I was standing next to them you could see better.......there also about half the weight it seems too. When I take the haywire back to the shop in the next week I'll put it next to a full size haywire to show the difference.
Dave Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: reho33 on April 11, 2010, 03:45:00 PM I had a Double Diamond S+ that I have since sold. One of the reasons that I sold it is because of the rareness of kits for this size of machine. Do you have kits for this size?

dave Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: ROCKET on April 12, 2010, 02:04:51 PM for the guys with intermediates
DONT THINK KITS ARE UNAVAILABLE !!! if your looking for kits .. its very easy to make them OUT OF SLANT TOP KITS .. on the old forum i dont know if it was transfered over ?? YOU TAKE AWARD GLASS from slant top kits that are plentifull including the full kit etc you cut the award glass down to fit to the top award glass for intermediate .. then take a standard S+ BELLY & cut that down--also it works out great !! looks great if we cant find the pictures ?? I can post pictures later today !! of a intermediate with a chaos kit in it which was never available as far as Iknow for a intermediate many of the more modern games were not available for the intermediate -which now are simple to make from slant top kits just before you cut the glass take a razor >>>sharp<<< & cut the mylar on the back so it does not tear when you make the snap !! i have done about 30 so far never lost one peice of glass yet !! of course i would not take a super rare 9line triple diamond in slant and cut that -- common sense comes to play !! some kits you just cant do it that have the second half of the award on belly ?? if you cut it down it may remove part of the payoff thought this would good info for those with intermediates who think there stuck !! rocket Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: eis_slots on April 12, 2010, 03:25:37 PM Thanks for the information Rocket! :3-

Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: ROCKET on April 13, 2010, 01:17:43 PM I do this for BUNKER to keep him happy !!
SUGGESTION :TO MODERATOR?? CHANGE TOPIC FROM MINI TO IGT INTERMEDIATE ?? HERE ARE ASSORTED PICTURES OF THE NTERMEDIATE WITH SLANT TOP GLASS CUT TO FIT . SIZE OF CABINET IS 40"-INCHES TALL 13----3/4" ----INCHES DEEP 18 ---1/4 ----INCHES WIDE first picture is with a CHAOS glass top & 5x pay belly second picture is best i could do today. with a standard size S-PLUS 16" TOP CABINET RESTING ON TOP OF INTERMEDIATE FOR SIZE COMP. I will pos several pictures in a row if folks give me ten minutes before posting s the pictures all fall into place please ?/ rocket Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: ROCKET on April 13, 2010, 01:21:29 PM next is the pictures of slant top award glass
the DOUB AMERICAN BEAUTY IS FACTORY IGT SLANT TOP SIZE !!>>award glasss<<< ONLY THE TOP NEEDS TO BE CUT AS IN THE CHAOS PICTURE note : not all kits can be used as I explained before because the belly glass on some games you will lose the award after a cut . NOTE : BELLY GLASS has to be a S+ BELLY Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: ROCKET on April 13, 2010, 01:27:44 PM IGT INTERMEDATE SIZE
main board on left of door as in early s+ design 40"--- tall 13"---3/4" inches deep 17"---5/16" -inches wide buy slant top kits use reel strips game & reel chip cut top glass to fit intermedate -NOTE : IMPORTANT >> CUT MYLAR WITH RAZOR BEFORE SNAPPING GLASS <<<<< or it will tear off back of glass -- note try to scribe both sides . the belly glass needed is standard S-PLUS cut to fit --NOTE DONT USE GAMES THAT HAVE AWARDS ON BELLY'S ? THEY MAY BE GONE AFTER A CUT .. I hope this explains how games are available to intermediate owners for cheap money !! the reel glass dont break it lol GO NUTS BUNKER !!HA!! Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: stayouttadabunker on April 13, 2010, 01:40:04 PM Thank you so much for showing those pictures Rocket! :131- :3- :244-
It's amazing how much of the glass needs to be cut to fit in there. The hopper bowl is right over the coin drop chute too...tight! The whole thing is roughly 4 inches narrower than a regular upright machine. What was the whole reasoning behind this IGT machine model? :103- To fit on ships? Gee, wouldn't it have easier just to remove the handles and put a chrome plate over the hole? Have the boaters play with just the buttons instead? LOL I wonder if other companies besides IGT made "Intermediate" sized machines as well? Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: ROCKET on April 13, 2010, 01:44:19 PM Thank you so much for showing those pictures Rocket! :131- :3- :244- It's amazing how much of the glass needs to be cut to fit in there. NO-- actually the width of the slant top glass is perfect no cutting required >>ON WIDTH<< only the top glass would need the top or te bottom of the top cut .. the belly needs a litle work its not hard after 30 kits i never broke one peice until today !!!because i kicked the 5x pay by mistake taking picture or fall over nto a pile of old 9" monitors ..the things i do for you .. geez !! Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: stayouttadabunker on April 13, 2010, 01:49:25 PM Aw crappers Rocket!!!! :30- :30- That's so unfortunate!!
If I find a 5X Pay - I'll send it to you! What size was it??? Title: Re: My "mini's" Post by: ROCKET on April 13, 2010, 02:26:01 PM Aw crappers Rocket!!!! :30- :30- That's so unfortunate!! If I find a 5X Pay - I'll send it to you! What size was it??? no problem Mark, if it was going to happen ??>>> it was better than falling on top of exposed yokes of monitors !!! I have a few S+ belly's of 5 X PAY left in stock on shelves .. so no big deal . what size you ask lol before i cut it down from S+ or after I made cuts to fit the intermediate ??-or after its in 3 peices now? i have a few mini pictures left to post in 10 minutes for you haaaaaaaaaaaa plus lunch !!! D'oh! :25- :96- Does that make you three hours older than me? :30- :208- :208- :208- Rocket, sorry to hear that you broke your 5X pay glass. :60- :210- Personally, I hate the idea of cutting slot glass, especially since it is becoming more and more rare. When one considers the price of some glass kits today, and the likely cost of even "common" glass kits in the future, I would rather go out and buy another S+ than cut into good glass, but that's just me. btw......who was the NLG member, because i know it was one of you, who outbid me on the Ms. Little Green Men strips, how dare you do it while I was sleeping you sneaky rascal lol :149- :149- :96- :96- Title: Re: My Intermediate Slots Post by: stayouttadabunker on April 14, 2010, 02:50:21 AM It wasn't me! LOL :100- I don't even have an I-Game!!! LOL
A few yrs ago, I changed my name to Stayouttadabunker here on NLG because we were all bidding on the same stuff on fleaebay and my name on fleabay was stayouttadabunker because one of the first things I bought on that website was a set of golf clubs. Later on, when I was buying slot parts and stuff, I noticed a few members here bidding over there. Hence the name change...but then fleabay changed the way they displayed members names - and we were back to square one...bidding wars...LOL Oh well... that's living in a capitalistic society. Dog eat dog and the early bird gets the worm... :96- The funny thing is...when you really want something slot-wise. It magically appears on fleecebay the next day... :72- Title: Re: My Intermediate Slots Post by: eis_slots on April 14, 2010, 03:42:04 AM whats funny bunker is i looked on ebay and didn't see the strips then a few hours later a member saw it on ebay and posted the link. :103- :103-
