What kind of fuses are used in the universal slots?

Fast or slow blow?

Good question and I'm not really sure. When in doubt, use fast acting.
Most Universal power supplies I have come across have an OKA brand fuse. Assume it's japanese?
These fuses have a triangle with a "T" and a horizonal bar above the T in the triangle. Triangle has point down.
So what does this mean? Thermal, time-delay, I'm not sure?

Others have a 312 series of fuse which I believe is fast acting. Would think you would at least want fast acting for the 5v DC.

Would any electronic experts like to chime in?

thanks uniman, I kinda thought the same, fast is best when in doubt.

I didn't know if this thread should have been posted in the power supply thread.
