I just picked up a new machine today and the game acts funny. Every time you run the coins down it replaces the coins with 2000 coins without having to stick in any coins and it seems to hit bonuses quite frequently but will not allow the coins to accumulate.  :103-


The chips are labeled SH000640 gm1,2,3,4, no simm
The machine is like brand new. coin counters still have zeroes on it.

Could these be a demo chip set?

The game is supposed to be Its all Greek to me. Here is another picture.

Can one change the base chip out with another game just to see if it works. Has anyone played around with these newer boards. also what dose the chip marked dspl0002 will the game work without this chip.

The game plays normal it just will not allow the user to change a few key features and will not allow the user to keep accruing points.

Just a guess on my part but your version chip says internal test only.  Internal being IGT maybe?  I wonder if someone forgot to take this chip out and install a regular base chip in your machine.

yes the version chip does say internal use only.
also the screen says demo mode.

let me switch the version chip will base chip be different too.

My list might be old, but it says the base chip for that game should be R0000013...that's an old chip.  The SG1 / 2 chip in my opinion should always be updated to SG000536 on all Reel Touch machines and for best results with MD the version chip should be changed to a VS011GX1.

I just noticed you have an enhanced board so very likely there is an update SB chip out there that you should be using. 

Is he also missing the DSV sound card on his enhanced board?

Not to my knowledge all sound is controlled by the lcd on reel touch machines.

"R" at the beginning of a S-2000 software number means Enhanced or flash board, like the 044 platform in video, IGT shows that game to be an Enhanced game currently, not saying there is not chips for it, working on that myself, that set with the blue labels was just the set for the Gaming show and as the display shows is in Demo Mode or free play

Well your all wrong except for the fact that he has an enhanced board.
Where the hell did you get that software?
That is Igt SHOW software, used for trade shows.
Provides a way to show off the games features, like having a way to always hit the bonus round, etc
Sound simm is not needed.  The sound is provided by the top boxes hard drive.

Well, just about 2 weeks and you should have it all finished up and into production

Getting all parts by next Monday or Tuesday and should be able to ship a few end of next week.he surface mounting people held me up.  :(
