Title: Re: EVO self test Post by: paul on April 24, 2010, 02:54:41 PM I made a mistake it says Auto test not self test
Title: Re: EVO self test Post by: a69mopar on April 24, 2010, 05:10:50 PM It sounds like a main board issue. Still I would check for bent pins at the connector and the battery voltage.

Title: Re: EVO self test Post by: a69mopar on April 24, 2010, 08:41:29 PM No they are different. An EVO is a V8700.

And make sure it has the correct eproms installed. The auto test is the monitor test. when you boot the machine without the main board it will show this screen. Check all of the jumpers/dips to ensure they are set correctly(on a gamemaker, this will happen if the jumpers next to the mains aren't set), Can't remember the jumpers on the evo.
Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: EVO self test Post by: paul on April 25, 2010, 12:29:12 AM No jumpers like on the game maker by the eproms this is a lil abner game the dips on dip 1 are dip 1 to 6 are on and 7and 8 are off when i try to clear I install chip in P9 and dip 8 on I even tried 7and 8 on If i pull board and start machine I get a flashing blue background behind the auto test If i try another game do i change MO M1 and P7 PaUL
