Title: Bally quick pick pay time error code e001 PLEASE HELP!
Post by: joshmail on April 24, 2010, 08:37:59 PM
Hi,
Newbee here, I have 2 bally pro 6000 slots one is a bonus times and one is a quick pick pay time..I also have a Williams jackpot stampeed W/ the dotmation top and a IGT red peppers and IGT double diamond.

Here is my problem.....

The quick pick pay time has a bonus "quick pick " game on top.  I had a repair guy out beacuse it would only pay hand pay when you cashed out. He got that going by changing some dip-switches and doing a memory clear, now everything is fine but....... the top part now has a error code E001. ERRRRRRR.

I attached some picts of it, please get me up and betting again..

Thanks.

I have gotten some e-mails from others that say the dip switches should be like this:

HI JOSH,MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DIP SWITCH SETTINGS FOR DS1 ARE SET LIKE THIS 1-ON 2-ON 3-ON 4-OFF 5-ON 6-OFF 7-ON IF YOU HAVE LEAVE IN CLEAR CHIPS #8 MUST BE IN THE OFF POSITION.SET THE DIP SWITCHES TO THESE SETTINGS AND DO A FULL RAM CLEAR.ALSO MAKE SURE THAT THE CONNECTION FOR YOUR EXTERNAL BONUS GAME IS CONNECTED TO THE J-3 IN THE FRONT OF THE MPU BOARD.THIS SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR PROBLEM.BOB

Can someone clarify a little?

We do have a few members who know these machines, but perhaps none of them had a chance to read your post.
Glad to hear that someone was able to help you, even if they weren't from NLG.  :89-

P.S. And K+ for posting back that you found an answer. Perhaps you might post the details of the DIP switch settings to help others with the same problem in the future, or were the settings that you posted in Reply #1 correct, after all?

Yes,
thoes settings where correct. All thoe I dont know what Bob ment by "if I have leave in clear chips" on switch #8.  I left it on insted of off and everything worked! Last time I call that repair man. So my settings where on dip-switch #1 1-on 2-on 3-on 4-off 5-on 6-off 7-on and 8-on all thoe I dont know if I have "leave in clear chips"

Thanks.

A Jackpot Stampede with Yahtzee dice -- I love it.  :72- :72-

It looks like you might be in the market for slot stands. :79- The machines are spreading fast! Don't leave them alone in the dark or you'll end up with machines everywhere like ashyron.  :200- :208- :208- :208-
