Title: Ceronix 1492 Monitor on IGT PE Post by: SuperSlots on April 30, 2010, 07:13:39 PM Was doing some work on my PE logic board, plugged it back in, turned the machine on, all's well then the monitor faded to black.
Then it came back all distorted/out of focus. I suspected the monitor so I did the Zanen Electronics "get well kit", and that didn't help. Still dark as night. I'm assuming my logic board is shot. It's a 7570260. And I know of NO replacements. Can I just convert this hunk'o'junk to a PE+? The picture would give users a better idea as to whether it is a monitor problem or a problem on the logic board. :211-
Title: Re: Ceronix 1492 Monitor on IGT PE Post by: SuperSlots on April 30, 2010, 11:59:36 PM It's just plain black now, doesn't even come up anymore. The "Get Well Kit" replaces all the electrolytic capacitors on the monitor board with the exception of the 4 large filter capacitors.
I am getting high voltage on the monitor as I can hear it charge up and discharge when it's powered on and off. Title: Re: Ceronix 1492 Monitor on IGT PE Post by: Firebird on May 06, 2010, 10:43:05 PM Some possible solutions for you:
