Title: Fort Knox
Post by: PWRSTROKE on April 30, 2010, 10:53:48 PM
Here is some NEW Igt ovals I just bought.  Got 4 of these and again they are new complete with the insert AND flat top mount.  I have not as of yet decided what I was going to do with this batch but thought I would share.  Think there may be some more arriving in the coming weeks.  B.

:208- Well,  I do not drink miller.  Igt now has a smasher (has for a while).   As I said Just bought these and they are brand spank'in new.  By the way I prefer Bud Light.  Besides that half the sheet you by on e-bay comes from the dumpster--------- :97- :208-.  Guess it doesn't matter just as long as it's good sheet,  That is what counts.  B.  Also forgot--The weather here is absoulte shitty here as of now, strong wind, rain etc.-Been that way all day here--Makes sipping on the BL's pretty nice.   Going down to the casinos here in a bit to drop some duckies and enjoy some comps.

Jim,  I am back in town now.  I see you had some fun while I was away.  How did you get a picture of me------- :208-.  Very creative on your part and quite comical.  Actually the Dumpsters they had in the past were 40 foot long and if one wanted could "just climb in" and have a peek.  Those days are by the wayside now--Ah it used to be the " High Life" back then------------ :208- :97-.  I gotta find that Bud-Light Girl-------- :30- :25-.   B.

Was there EVER a Double Diamond Haywire insert made?
I keep seeing the same stuff over and over ( most of it crap titles)
but I've never, ever seen an IGT Double Diamond or DD Haywire insert.
This puppy needs a topper...LOL

Why does the odometer keep slowing down and speeding up when you're not touching the machine?  I thought that the odometer runs faster when the difference between the currently displayed amount and the current progressive amount is large and that it slows down as the two figures get closer to one another.

Good catch Stat!
That progressive at the time of when I took that video wasn't working correctly.
I have no idea what was going on at the time and
it remains a mystery to this day because since then it's been working fine.
At that time though the progressive, you could say - had extra-terrestrial life of it's own... :5- :128- :100-

Was it set up as a stand alone or hooked up to one of your CONs?

I was working with Foster over the phone as we tried to hook it up to a Cham2 (non-plus) I believe.
Or it was one of those double big-display-over-small-display Spectrums for an S+.
The wiring harness for that particular unit was similar to the mini-photon units
but does NOT work in an S2000 Netplex system.
We were playing with all sorts of Netplex harness configurations and
I'm thinking it was a pulsing of an errant, wayward signal that was
making the progressive act like it was alive.
I've since installed the correct Spectrum display and things are more normal...
