Title: transporting a game king 275 + miles.
Post by: joshmail on May 04, 2010, 01:07:26 AM
Hi all,

I have got my eyes on a Game king in Las Vegas I live in Phoenix and was wondering what I should be looking for before I buy said Game King. Also what you think about it holding up to a 275+ mile road trip  :138-  in the back of my truck?

THX.

I always take the monitor out and pack it safely before I move a video machine.... Just a suggestion.

I might suggest you also remove the MPU board.  I have often found the daughter card vibrated loose.  I have even seen simms and proms vibrated out of their sockets.....just takes a decent pot hole and things go flying.  Finally, it's not a bad idea to remove the top box round fluorescent bulb (assuming this is a round top).  Those are clipped in there pretty tight with these 3 clips at 120 degrees to one another and it does not take much of a bump for those to shatter.  Good luck...

I also remove the hopper (if installed) and the bill acceptor too.  Everything else should be OK.
