Title: tatung driving me crazy Post by: chris89883 on May 04, 2010, 02:43:34 PM OK i got a tatung 14" vs14428 with horizontal collapsed ( line top to bottom). ive checked and replaced all bad caps, no bad solder connections. ive fixed A LOT of these and never seen one with a line from top to bottom. This monitor is for a casino 120 miles away and i got a bunch of other i got to take back, but this is the last one and im gonna fix it with a hammer soon if i dont figure it out. ANyone seen this problem? or have any idea? thanks very much

Title: Re: tatung driving me crazy Post by: Ken Layton on January 08, 2011, 02:26:30 AM Generally, when you have just a vertical line (no horizontal width) it will be a problem at or around the horizontal width coil. Look for cold solder joints especially at the width coil and the yoke header pins.
