Title: S6000 8100 error Post by: idylewild1 on May 21, 2010, 11:47:12 AM I have two or three MPU boards thsat have a 8100 error that won't clear. Have installed new battery and performed total ram clear. 8100 pops in window when mains are installed and turned on. Another MPU works fine when installed. Has anyone reapired a board with this error code. Thanks
Title: Re: S6000 8100 error Post by: a69mopar on May 21, 2010, 12:04:05 PM I have seen this where the battery was not installed correctly, poor solder job. I also check the battery jumper to be sure it's making contact. Further to that you will have to follow the traces and look for breaks in the circuit.
