Title: IGT S2000 billacceptor problem
Post by: dansgames on November 01, 2008, 03:26:51 AM
Need help figuring out an S2000 I have that does not initilaize the billacceptor on start up. It has a  mars acceptor along with the wire harness and plug from a working machine. The board has the billacceptor enabled. All connections look good back to the mother board. Tried I/O test still nothing, Any Ideas  :103-

Hey Dan, Well I guess you have tried another known working dbv in it?.  Also as a side request on my part, Do you have any of those "ceasers" placards that cover up the player tracking on s-2000?  I noticed a lot of the games you had and have had that on them.    I could use a few-Maybey -5 of them.

Self Test
  4 I/O Tests
     Spin reels switch
     3 Auto-Configure Netplex Devices.
        Press Spin Switch 2 times.
display shows Netplex Auto-config in progress

Jim the cash box door is wired so it shows it is closed all the time.

Foster I will have him check the netpex auto config. I am trying to trouble shoot it for a friend unfortunately He is 1000 mile away, I am also looking at possibly the power supply

Thanks Dan.  I know how it can be to try and talk long distance on repairs and send pic's etc. back and forth.  Probably if you could put your hands on it you could fix it- :89-.  I am doing the same thing as we speak on some problems/set-ups.  I will pm you.  Thanks Barry.  Good luck with the meet wish I could go but that's why I/we elected to start our own meet closer to us southern people.

If you play the game with the BV out of it, it will need that done, not turning it off and pulling it out, but pulling the Bv out and returning the game to play unconfigures it

Jim,
That must have been it. He had a party last weekend and probably pulled it out and used tokens only. I will have to ask Him.. K+ for the info
