Title: Slot Math Question Post by: TZtech on May 30, 2010, 06:36:15 AM Hello All
Am developing a simulation for reel games (Specifically IGT S+) with excel - My slot math has become a bit rusty so brushing up on this as well. Here is an extract from a Typical IGT PAR sheet - In this case SS8478. My question is this - If we have 32 virtual stops on a reel and 1 cherry on each reel why do we get 900 hits (1 *30 * 30) or (30 * 1 * 30) or (30 * 30 *1) and not (1 *31 * 31) etc etc. What am I missing here ? | PAY COMBO | # PER REEL | HITS | PULLS/HIT| PAYS | TOTAL PAY | | CH XX XX | 1 31 31 | 900. | 36.| 2.| 1800.| | XX CH XX | 31 1 31 | 900. | 36.| 2.| 1800.| | XX XX CH | 31 31 1 | 900. | 36.| 2.| 1800.| Title: Re: Slot Math Question Post by: ROCKET on May 30, 2010, 08:40:45 AM removed

So they are deducting the Double Diamond symbol in their calc's.
It is really; Reel #1 CH Reel #2 all other symbols except DD Reel #3 all other symbols except DD For instance, if there were two virtual Double Diamond symbols per reel than it would be 1* 29 *29 = 841 What are the "O1,O2,O3,U1,U2,U3" ??? Nudge symbols?? Title: Re: Slot Math Question Post by: TZtech on May 30, 2010, 05:32:40 PM Thanks Uniman
Yes of course - Thanks for clearing that up for me. Yep the O's and U's are nudges. Still need to figure out how to include that functionality in the simulation.
