What do you need to know? I have parts of it scanned. Is your machine multi coin or multi line? They have different boards.

I am not sure what I need, I have someone who bought one and it doesn't work, I never worked on one and he didn't know the model, I was guessing it was a 400 as it looked old. I figured if I could find a manual he could look it over and see if it was a 400 and use the manual to try to fix it. So far he hasn't did anything on it, and he is looking for someone to fix it, I told him maybe someone could, but you need a manual for it, for someone to even try to fix it for him.
Thanks.... I was just trying to help him with something.

I could probably identify it if I saw a picture. I have replacement control boards.

I am hopeing he shows up here at NLG and just joins in, so he maybe can get some help on this one. OK, so on to see how I do at uploading these photos. Thanks again for you help on this..........

A 3 line - I have one of those. Trying to get the old logic board working was a very lengthy and difficult job and in the end I gave up and just designed a replacement. I have several laying around if your friend would like one.

I was amazed to learn a couple of weeks ago that the man who designed the original logic board is a friend of mine! I had no idea.

So, op Bell...

I guess I was right on my guess that it was a Jennings Model 400 then? I think I have a complete reel mechanism for one of these in a box, need one for a door stop or something, it looks nice in the box, but I have never touched a Jennings 400. I was told to stay away from them but i never pay attention to that, I would always dive right in with my eyes closed. WOW, you have an old friend that designed this, the logic board, on this machine and you have these machines and never knew that, what a small world we live in sometimes, wild how that happens sometimes. I hope this Byron comes over and can read about his 400 here and let us know how he's doing on it.
Thanks
Jackpot

P.S. did you see that battery eliminator information for this Jennings in the file section here, maybe it was you that wrote it, but if you haven't have a look at it, interesting it is, and well described with photo's, a well done piece of information.

Hello everyone.  I am the guy that bought the machine.  I finally got a hold of the guy that sold it to me.  It is a Jennings 400 but he doesn't have a manual.  I found one online though. (Poorly scanned but it works.)  Do I need to cut my losses and sell this or is the new board something that is affordable? Opbell can you send me a email how much a new board is? byronbreshears@gmail.com.
