Title: Tilt Post by: pinballpaul on June 04, 2010, 05:25:08 PM SG150 tilt light comes on on power up and will not clear. I went through the error message list using the last key, no errors found. I cleared the ram. I've tried resetting accounting and software meters, turned all dipswitches off, turned off bill validator and replaced the battery.

What does the display say or the machine do?

The manual does not mention the tilt anywhere. The insert coin lamp is flashing, the led on the coin comparator is red. Going by the manual it appeared that all the dip switches should be off in may application (25 cent and no bill acceptor).

The red ligt on the CC will be on if you have the door open and did not pull out the switch for the door. Does it turn green if you pull out the switch? Can you post a picture of your tilt message?
Title: Re: Tilt Post by: pinballpaul on June 07, 2010, 02:48:21 AM The coin comparator does not go green if the interlock switch is pulled (however the door open alarm stops). With no green light it will not accept a coin. There is no tilt message just zeros and the status display bars door closed etc.
Title: Re: Tilt Post by: pinballpaul on June 11, 2010, 05:38:40 PM If I disable the coin mech (bend the accept lever) it works, coins up and pays and the tilt lamp goes out. Unfortunately, I don't have another coin comparator to try in it. I tried it with a mechanical coin mech and got a cin timeout error.
