Does anybody have or know where I can get a mini to micro fit molex multi denom adapter for my 6-6-3 displays. Or an entire harness that has the micro connection already on it for multi denom displays? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the longer harness in this picture? I don't have an extra one but maybe someone does. stayouttadabunker might have some connectors for the short harness.

No I am not talking about that one. I am talking about the black one that connects the door harness to the leds. I've been told that it is very difficult to make this harness as people were getting errors when making it. Igt actually made this adapter.

I am still not sure of which harness or "Leds" you are talking about?
The "leds" ...do you mean the credits display for the blue VFD Led crystal display panel?
Or do you mean to the multi-denomination display panel in the middle
where the .25 cent denomination insert usually is?
It cannot be too hard to make providing someone has the wiring schematics or
a drawing of some sort.
Can you upload a photo of these "leds" ?

First picture is new connection on Multi denom 6-6-3 (Micro Fit) and second picture is Connector on 5-5-2 meter (mini Fit) and door harness. I need an adapter for this. Igt made them.

If you have one presently installed in another machine and
can send me an exact wiring color drawing if where each
wire goes into each connector - I can make you a harness no problem.

That is exactly what I need Railroad. I talked to Jim Several times and tried to coax the only one he had left from him but I don't think he is going to give it up. Alright Bunker,  I know you can pull me out of this one.  I was wondering if you can make the pictured harness. I think I read somewhere on here you made one for someone before and it worked great. I need this harness but long enough to go from the denom panel to the stacked 6-6-3 short reel meter. What can ya do for me? Let me know what it is going to take.

Hey Tommy, I'm Bunker's agent. :14-
I get 15% of everything he makes, which comes out to 1.8 inches of wire for each foot used in the harness. In addition, since there are 20 connectors (10 on each end), you'll have to cut off 3 of them (1½ per end) and send them to me along with my 15% of the wire. :200- :30-

T, can you take another photo but lay down a ruler next to it
perhaps with on of the connectors starting on zero of the ruler?
Does it need to be longer?
If so, can you give me a measurement of the total length?
The pin outs doesn't seem to be a problem...It appears fairly straight through?
I need a better overhead shot of it and laid as flat as possible.
I want to make sure there are no wires crossed going from one connector to the other.
How many wires are they?
And what is the measurement length-wise of the connector.
With this information, I can look it up in mouser.com specification sheets of
molex connectors and try to place an order for the correct ones.
I don't want to charge you anything for making it, It's my pleasure really...
but I'd be happy if you could pay for the parts and postage.
Offhand, I'd guess less than $15 or $20 total.
I'll know exactly when I get an invoice from mouser.

I got the 4 11-pin PicoFit Molexes in from Mouser.
I am a little more than halfway in the construction of one harness at your specified 8" length!
This is tiny, tiny work! Argh!!!!
I don't have small enough crimpers to properly crimp the
connectors so I resorted to micro-soldering...
I have my extra hands and soldering gun out of they way so I don't melt anything...lol

I've found that even my smallest crimpers (which are crimpers for small jewelry) doesn't just cut it....argh!!! :37-
I need a PicoBlade crimper...impossible to find.... :8-
Mouser does sell PicoBlade kits but only with solder termination and not the ones I like to use which need a tiny crimper.
I know the model aircraft guys have them for making connections with miniature servos.
Of course, they're only using 2-pin  or 4-pin PicoBlade housings.
Below is the red-handled Molex crimper I need but believe me- they're not cheap... :60- :8-
I have some of these tools but the hand crimpers are amazingly expensive.>>>

The blue ones are too cheap and don't really work.
The red ones are discontinued.

I am of understanding that only certain chips support the Multi-Denomination Touch Pad.
Anybody know which ones besides the SG00621?  :103-
I'm using the SG00363's but all I get is the "7-Segment Display Mismatch" Touch Pad error.
I tried SG00380's too... :8-
The 6-6-3 Display works but the Touch Pad only lights up and doesn't change the denom value
even though I keychipped it and set each one.  :47-
Am I missing a step in set-up procedures? :128-

363's will work with multi denom touch. That is what I am using. I know there are some others as well. I will have to check later. I never got a chance last night for a pic for you but I will get it. I modified my original short reel glass mount because I was too cheap to buy a new one when I could make this one work for me. Kinda rigged but hey it works so why not??

I played with mine for a couple of hours last night but kept coming up the the error.
I will try again in a few hours.
Anyone who's seen these harness can attest to how delicate they are.
I have to check mine to see if any of the pins came out of the tabs on the Molex housing.
That can happen when pushing these micro connectors in and out.

I think when I switched it originally I got the same error. I either key chipped it reconfigured netplex devices to get it to accept the new display. I would try to reconfigure netplex first.

I didn't know that.
It must be some type of magnetic plastic?
I just stuck the brown touch pad against the back of the reel glass for now.
My finger actually touches the front of the reel glass - not the actual touch pad brown contact areas.

Putting the label behind the glass is where it goes. I was told it would not work
with out it. Never tried it without one.

I have some but they are large amounts and have the same amount for player 1 & 3.

Ron  I had one with out the label and it worked fine. 

I think I know what I did wrong!!!! :25- :279- :30- :47- :50- :5- :72-

1) I have the display working fine.
2) All the LED lights work in the Touchpad, they dance
between 1-4 whenever the VFD displays the four denoms.
3) The touch pad doesn't work....

I pulled the harness off of the touchpad from the lights and #1 and #2 work.
I'm certain I wired the little 2" harness wrong for the Touch pad.  :37-
Mine is wired straight through, but when I look at the photo of r273's, it looks like the
White wire twists to the other side as it enters the Touch pad housing?
I have to go check my notes.... :209- :79-

Yep! I found it!
I have the 1st wire in pin #1 going to Pin#6....duh! :25- :279-
I gotta flip them around from end to end.... :5-
I hope I didn't burn anything out...

I'm getting pretty good with my paint shop drawings as various people
emailed me tonight about my "Spin" button..lol

( Just to let everyone know - it's not real as I made it myself...lol...
It's just a "Spin" button I made and doesn't operate any sort
of "Bonus" round of any kind...
In fact, the strips are my "Double Diamond Haywire" game.
if you look closely, there's NO trademark on this button label at all.
Even the colors are different from the original.
However, not one person picked up on that... :209-
The big round button is actually an video arcade Jamma button that can be bought
online at various video arcade repair websites.)

Anyways, what I want to do is make a different denomination value
for all four of the Touch panel areas.

If you are referring to having multi denom on your long reel they make that too. I also have one on a machine with that configuration.

They are not all like that. They did that if the casino only wanted one two or three denominations on a machine but there is 4 spots.

So, there's a different reel glass to fit the 663?

The display is exactly the same as any other "short" reel glass display except
that each individual digital numbers are smaller so 7 digits fit into the mylar openings on the reel glass.
The right hand side "glass" itself has a cut out for the ticket printer.
 
I don't know about the "long" reel glass though.
They usually have a different 6-6-3 display panel that runs
along the bottom where the denomination insert is.
But again, the lighted digits are smaller and made to fit the openings of a regular "long" glass I believe.

Well we do, however LA Slots is selling them on eBay for much less than we do, then you can get Bunker to make an adapter harness for the display, ours comes with it though
