BTW does anyone know why the main page now shows last 25 post.
Before the crash it showed last 125 post.
Or is that part of the personal settings?

I didn't want to reply publicly until I had confirmed my suspicion, which I have now done: I am officially suspicious...  :200- :5- :30- :208- :208-

The main problem that we were facing was our level of activity with the shared database and our host's decision to arbitrarily limit connectivity. We have reduced the number of posts per page and the most recent post query to comply with their requirements. They apparently had also found some database "issues" and have fixed them, so we are now up and running.

We are still looking at moving elsewhere to our own dedicated server.
