Hey Jim.  I don't know what voltage they actually are but I am using 12 volt LED's in my machine and the other machines I had.  They work just fine.  Changing them is easy.  Reach in and grab a socket and turn.  They twist on and off, not snap in.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Ron!

I have some colored 6.3 leds that I put in the buttons, (to match the fruit colors :) And they also work fine.

One more question,  Does the bonus spin button bulbs twist out the same way as the other buttons?

I can't get it to turn, And I don't want to force it!

Thanks for the help!   K+      Jim

Greetings gents,

I thought the bulbs are only accessable down though the lens once you pop the lens out.  Maybe some are different, but if you do go in from the top be careful and do like Kirk suggests.

Cheers,
Mark

"Needle-Nose" pliers are a disaster! dont do it! I use a piece of rubber vacuum line slipped over the end of the bulb. Create a vacuum on the hose and the bulb pulls right out from the top!

The bulbs are really easy to remove.  Like Ron said, You just hold the bottom of the switch Assembly and turn the bottom, And the socket comes out straight down.
The only bulb I can't get out is the round bonus spin one.   :103-
