Title: s2000 token conversion question Post by: pinball2000 on July 09, 2010, 12:30:34 PM Hello,
I have 4 s2000 machines and they are set on quarters. They use coin comparitors (cc16). Work fine. The customer would like to use 1.125 tokens instead.Im not using a hopper so thats not an issue. The question I have is do the coin in optics(past comparitor need changing/adjusting? Also, Any way to easily make the top coin entry plate wider to accept the larger token . A quarter barely makes it and im sure a 1.125 token wont fit. Thanks in advance! and hope a vendor will spot your needs. You need a larger, wider coin acceptance coin mech unit and a larger coin-in optics "encoder" The "encoder" is basically a black plastic guide that's sandwiched between the coin-in optic boards under the coin comparitor. If you can take it apart, you can break off the guide that's normally reserved to allow quarter sized coins to fall through. You'll see it better when you dis-assemble the unit. The coin slot drop guide on top of the button deck will have to be changed to a larger slot as well. |
