Title: Another Backlit problem Post by: IFFV68 on July 14, 2010, 12:18:05 AM I changed my Board today,
Fixed the sound. no problem. Question is When playing the game, Double Diamond Haywire, & getting the first red Seven (7)regardless of the other two, it doesn't lite up & make any sound. . A single Double Diamond does & makes a sound. All the other pay lites work. Haven't hit any triple bars yet since I changed the board. When hitting a haywire all three levels of lites go crazy. Any ideas what may cause this to happen? thanks Title: Re: Another Backlit problem Post by: staz on July 14, 2010, 12:22:48 AM that is wierd the sevan should light up ........

Do you or anyone else know of any setting I may have missed. i think i will turn off machine & reinstall the board. Can't hurt. those double 7's with the double diamond kicker are cool. I need to hit one of those up the hill Title: Re: Another Backlit problem Post by: stayouttadabunker on July 14, 2010, 01:12:44 AM Wiggle any connectors corresponding to the backlight reels.
Follow them back to the controller board and wiggle those too. I'll betcha a kabillion yen that you have a bad ground somewhere. By the way, there are tests you can do in the options settings for the backlit lights. Pull out your reel prom...see if you folded a leg underneath the device. Pull out the MPU and carefully inspect every pin on the board edge connector. You wanna find out the problem and fix it? You gotta be a detective. :209- Title: Re: Another Backlit problem Post by: IFFV68 on July 14, 2010, 02:38:04 AM thank Bunker,
I'll give it a try tomorrow & let you know. Title: Re: Another Backlit problem Post by: IFFV68 on July 14, 2010, 02:49:36 PM I tried looking for loose wires to no avail. All of the other lites work.
Question, Is the same lite bulb for the D Diamond, used for the RED SEVEN? I'm going to look at the bulbs. They look pretty tough to replace with out taking off the strips. I don't want to break the seal on the strips. Title: Re: Another Backlit problem Post by: Buzz on July 14, 2010, 03:27:54 PM I tried looking for loose wires to no avail. All of the other lites work. PROBLEM, S2000 backlit reels, enhanced sound. Red Seven wouldn't light up on first reel, Solution, After changing the board I did not change the SOUND SETTINGS. They must have defaulted , don't know for sure. I noticed I was getting Stereo sound but not enhanced sound. I went into the Sound Settings of the S2000 & noticed all the ENHANCED settings were turned off. I then turn them all on & adjusted the volume foe each setting. Got back to the reels spinning, closed the door. WOW, what a difference in sound. The RED SEVEN lites up & everything works as advertised.
