Title: Need Help! I game "Line Frequency" error Post by: Pokernut on July 25, 2010, 03:46:56 PM I was testing a power supply that was just recently repaired for my I+ game. When I turned the machine on the error message box said "Line Frequency error". So I figured the guy didnt really repair the power supply and replaced it with my original ps. When I booted the machine back up, I got the same error message. I can clear that error by going into the menu, then Diagnostics and then Cabinet I/O, dont touch a thing - just look at it like the RCA dog, hit the Return to Game tab, close the door and the error is gone. I then tried another known working power supply and the same error popped up. Cleared the error, played the game for a while then shut it off. Upon boot up the error came back
What the hell is going on? Do I have a whacked I/O card??? Help Pokernut Title: Re: Need Help! I game "Line Frequency" error Post by: TZtech on July 28, 2010, 03:27:44 PM Hello Pokernut
Is this the first model I - Game ?. The one with the IO card in the tray above the processor board? Recently had one with the same error only mine would not clear. Swapped out the entire IO tray assembly and it went away. Also seen it before on this model where it would go away like you said. Over here we use 50Hz but there is no setting where you select between 50 and 60 - It should auto detect it. If i get round to tracing the IO board circuit and fixing mine will post the repair.
