Title: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: Worldwide Gaming on July 29, 2010, 04:35:55 PM Greets again everyone!
We just picked up a number of Monte Carlo machines and there's a ton of additional optioning codes under the 11d menu that aren't covered in the regular S6000, Monte Carlo, or Progressive manuals... :103- The mains are: S6M1DS7C008-00 ST The games are: E872311X-05 2244 ST Does anyone have a full list of codes they could post or email? There's a virtual beer in it for ya! Thanks in advance -Karsten Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: Worldwide Gaming on September 07, 2010, 02:41:42 PM More Monte Carlo's to get running - does anyone have info on these machines??
Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: stayouttadabunker on September 07, 2010, 02:45:03 PM Karsten,
I don't have any info on Monte Carlo machines but if I did, I'd send you my copies in a heartbeat. As a machine dealer - won't the big shot companies offer you technical documentation should you request for it? Just wondering.... :129- Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: Worldwide Gaming on September 07, 2010, 02:53:24 PM As a machine dealer - won't the big shot companies offer you technical documentation should you request for it? :208- :72- :97- They don't give us access precisely because we are a dealer! Why help us eat into their potential sales? These Monte Carlo's are driving me nuts! Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: stayouttadabunker on September 07, 2010, 03:02:11 PM lol...I understand your point of view!
Doesn't really make sense though - they don't sell machines to homeowners in legal states though? Do they? I thought they only deal with casinos. Which of course brings up another question>>> Do any of these big shot companies sell machines to a legal state homeowner? Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: jay on September 07, 2010, 03:46:09 PM WWG,
We are more than pleased to share info that we have (that is what this site is all about) but if you do get the codes before someone else on this site comes up with them please remember that part of being a good member here is giving back and we would like very much that you post your pool of knowledge to benefit others also. Knowledge has no value if not shared. Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: a69mopar on September 07, 2010, 03:53:14 PM I'll answer this later, on my cell now.
Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: Worldwide Gaming on September 07, 2010, 04:49:06 PM Knowledge has no value if not shared. I agree completely! As usual, anything I come across related to a topic I'm on gets posted. What I know so far: According to the Monte Carlo manual (it's really just an addendum with a bunch of schematics and a couple paragraphs of DIP switch and Optioning code settings); SW4 & SW6 on DS1 must be set to off. This goes against suggestions already posted to NLG by others with Monte Carlo's. The DS positions were as follows (this is how they were set coming from the casino): DS1 - 11010101 DS2 - 00101011 DS3 - 11111111 Here's the list of unknown optioning codes (also casino settings): 79H - 0 79L - 0 82 - 1 83 - 1 84 - 1 85 - 1 86 - 1 87 - 1 88 - 1 96 - 1 12 - 0 90 - 0 91 - 0 95 - 0 73 - 3 76 - 0 61 - 2 81 - 0 74 - 0 77A - 1.48 77B - 1.31 77C - 1.4E 8 - 0 5 - 0 20 - 1 23 - 0 92 - 0 98 - 1 99 - 0 69 - 0 19H - 0 19L - 0 17 - 0 24 - 0 30H - 9999 30L - 0 Side note: Oddly enough, some of the boards from the casino still had the U24 chip in them as well... Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: a69mopar on September 07, 2010, 09:51:00 PM Hi Karsten,
There are several different Monte Carlo machines, some single spin, some multi spin, which do you have? The single spin can be set up to print tickets and work fantastically. These are the ones the Monte section of the manual is for. The multi spin machines require newer mains and have some different settings. Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: Worldwide Gaming on September 08, 2010, 02:44:18 PM The multi spin machines require newer mains and have some different settings. I've got one of the single spin, the rest are multi. The mains are current, so no issues there (2008 versions). There are a few other codes I missed in the list as well - but you get the idea. There's a ton of new codes on the new mains and no documentation on what the hell they mean! Title: Re: Monte Carlo Optioning Codes Post by: a69mopar on September 09, 2010, 12:57:22 AM your dip switch settings (as listed) should be fine, most of the settings you listed are not required.

Or, if anyone has a more recent Bally cheat sheet (mine's from 2004), would it be possible to email or fax a copy?
