Title: Bally 809 Post by: sdcpac on August 05, 2010, 05:18:11 PM my bally 809 works fine except for coin three pay out it's a 5 coin 5 cent machine coins 1,2,4,and five pay out OK but coin 3 on three bars or any three bars will empty the hopper. can any one help

Also, make sure the solenoid controlling the x-unit is pulsing. You should hear it, or undo the top unit lightboard screws, lay it down, and watch what the x-unit does during a pay. What are the symbols, and how many coins played? Sometimes Bally had odd ways of paying off over 200 coin pays. Are you sure it is supposed to pay 300, or is it supposed to lock up at over 200? Sorry for the delay, got laid off and going thru midlife crisis. |
