Some machines have a fuse in the back there. I'd unscrew it out and check it. Title: Re: need Scancoin SC3003 repair manual or instructions Post by: elvisc on August 29, 2010, 07:17:49 AM I have found the problem.
Button C was internal broken and the machine were constantly in reset function. I replace the button and work fine again. Anyone know where I can found buttons for this machine. From scan coin I receive the answer that they not sell it separately, they have the complete board or that I send to it for repair. They work by little magnets molded into the rubber that create a closed circuit when depressed. The button board is one piece altogether with the rubber touch-pad overlay on top of the button board. It's possible that there's an accumulation of metal dust from the coins sandwiched in between forming a continuous contact. I'd remove the touch-pad and blow out dust material from under the pad. Other than that, your only recourse is to purchase a new unit as there may be some button board component burned out. Check out the connectors to the button board too - it's possible there just might be a loose connection as well. I open another good button to see insaid. I need new botton and I don't know where to buy it. |
