Title: Push or Pull? Post by: Yoeddy1 on September 02, 2010, 03:16:19 AM When gaming, do you prefer to pull the handle or push the buttons to spin the reels?
I've heard that you win more when you pull the handle. :97- :97- :97- Me? I'm a button pusher...many will confirm that. :208- Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: Brianzz on September 02, 2010, 03:26:18 AM Button pusher.. I mix it up and pull the handle when I want to win
Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: stayouttadabunker on September 02, 2010, 03:32:40 AM uh...you didn't include people like me who like to put the game into "Auto-Play"... :200-
You can probably call me "button-pusher"...... as in remote-controlled "Max" bettor...lol Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: Foster on September 02, 2010, 04:02:23 AM Well I hate the S+ click so the solenoid is disconnected. but I do pull the handle on the S2000 now and then
normally I use the player buttons or my auto play and remote setup Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: CaptainHappy on September 02, 2010, 04:46:28 AM I usually like pushing the buttons, but really love pulling the handle... The reason that I don't pull much is that in my excitement to pull the handle I often slap the cashout button a few times instead of the bet one credit button! :25- :25- :25- :30- :30- :30- UGGGGGGG 5000 coins to go.................. :72- :97- :72-
Now on the 5 reel S2000's the handle releases automatically when play is ready and it acts like repeat the spin!!! :89- :89- :89- That I like!!! CH :95- Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: Brianzz on September 02, 2010, 04:50:23 AM I know you can set the spin button to repeat bet on S2000 can the handle act the same way?
Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: CaptainHappy on September 02, 2010, 05:04:20 AM I know you can set the spin button to repeat bet on S2000 can the handle act the same way? Brian, I tried to see if that could be done on 3 and 4 reel machines, but I could not find a way as it is really cool that way!!! I am guessing that it is coded in the 5 reel Base chip some how, or it is accomplished in whatever hardware that may be different on 5 reel machines??? :103- :103- :103- ANYONE KNOW? :79- CH :95- Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: Foster on September 02, 2010, 08:08:38 AM I suspect it has to do with game firmware not the base chip.
I know GME 363 wont release the handle. I do not have anything newer to see if it will work Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: tollguy316 on September 02, 2010, 10:28:34 AM At home I use the max bet button... At a casino; always the handle...... don't know why
Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: uniman on September 02, 2010, 12:01:45 PM Push a button for me. Although if I find a coin-in machine that is a plus! And the really old S+'s that you select cashout for every win, that's special!!! Pioneer Casino in Laughlin still has em.
The Uni Ultras have a cool short handle with a hand grip but they too have a loud solenoid. :47- The newest GameKings AVP have autoplay for keno. Pick your numbers, hit autoplay, chat with friends, turnaround and see all your money is gone! :72- Surprised that Stat hasn't responded. Rather than push or pull, I'm sure he waves while playing his Bally's Star Trek. :88- :88- :88- Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: stayouttadabunker on September 02, 2010, 12:26:33 PM I think it would be kinda funny to install a "CLAP-ON/CLAP OFF"
in the game room to activate the "Max" bet button? Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: StatFreak on September 02, 2010, 12:38:44 PM I think it would be kinda funny to install a "CLAP-ON/CLAP OFF" in the game room to activate the "Max" bet button? Now you're talking! :89- :71- Imagine walking into the room and spinning a dozen slots at one time by clapping. :244- :92- Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: Yoeddy1 on September 02, 2010, 12:52:55 PM Bunker, that's a million dollar idea! Go it!
Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: CaptainHappy on September 02, 2010, 06:32:38 PM I suspect it has to do with game firmware not the base chip. I know GME 363 wont release the handle. I do not have anything newer to see if it will work Foster, That is what I suspected at first until I compared 3 (or4?) reel machines with a 5 reel machine with the same Game chip. The handle acted the same, locked on 3-4 reel and free on 5 reel. That is what made me think that it is in the Base chip or in the hardare differences in 5 reel machines. I have never been able to find anyone with the precise answer. :25- I am guessing that it has something to do with the dual row button deck hardware. It makes sense that someone would hit "Bet 1 Coin" 1-2-3-5-9 times, but not 45-90-180+ times. They want speed of play. CH :95- Title: Re: Push or Pull? Post by: knagl on September 03, 2010, 09:40:27 PM I push the button. To change it up, every now and then I might pull the handle, but I'm mostly a button pusher.
