Title: CC-16 questions
Post by: techknight on November 14, 2008, 08:17:11 PM
Im trying to test the coin-mechanism aside from the unit to see if its still even operating.

it says CC-16 Rev A. no numbers anywhere else. anyone know what voltage it operates? Just for fun i tried 12v and the red LED comes on, but thats it. if i stick a quarter in it, it wont fire over to let it down. it just exits out the "not accepted" chute.

Check out the Submit A New File button at top of the page. A cc-16-install pdf should be there. It is out of a Universal slot manual but has a lot of info on the CC-16.

Usually a CC-16 just marked without voltage specific is 24 volt ac, but what color are the wires running to the back side?

post a clear pic of the numbers and I'll look for a sheet on it.  or you can type them in, especially the cmi#

Thanks,

Well there is only 2 wires going to it. there is a red wire connected to number3 on the side plug. then there is a black wire to number 6.

there are no other numbers on it at all. just a serial number, and CC-16 Rev A. nothing else, and those are stickered on.

I found some diagram out there, i dont know if its the right one, but it seems #3 is 48vDC, 4 is 24vdc, and 5 is 12vdc or some crap like that? i moved the red wire to number 5 and plugged 12v in to it for the heck of it, the red light came on as before, but this time it works. hehe.
