Title: Bally 6000 U30 & U45
Post by: FORDSBS on September 06, 2010, 07:27:09 PM
Hope all had a good Labor Day.  I have a Bally 6000. Can anyone tell me what the chips
in U-30 & U-45 are for.
Thank you all, Ford

They are the CPU's scratchpad RAM and SAFE RAM ICs.

No, but you'll have to do a SAFE RAM clear after you change it.

Thank you all, Does

does anyone know a part number for these that is available, the one on it does not cross refference to anything and is not listed anywhere. the schematic shows it as a 841001, also not listed anywhere
