Anyone know what board i change for "no display" ? there is usualy a small brd on the door i change for this but it is not there on this one. this is a nine line with the LED display in the reel glass , it is the only one i have so i cant s/ out parts any help? thanks to all!

So you are saying you have a 9 line LED display on the left side of the reel glass, and the 7 segment LED display below right side has NO DISPLAY in it, and the VFD on the left is blank?  You have a 1 piece VFD that does not have the driver board on the inside of the door.  If the vfd is blank then replace it with the same kind (not the 2 piece model).  But before doing that make sure all the connections are tight.

There are 2 different types of VFD's.  One has the extra board to drive it and the other newer version is an all-in-one so the driver is built into it.  You have the newer one unless your machine is missing the driver board.  You didn't say that it worked before so maybe you need to explain the situation further.  Is this a new machine that you just got?  A pic of the back of the vfd would help.

I had that problem w/one & it was the board on inside of door.

Yes, but he says he doesn't have one.  So either it's missing or he has the newer version of the VFD.

Well,  I was late on this thread as well and read all the posts.  I have to agree a picture of your game back door and complete would be helpful to recieve help. B.
