Thanks guys.. I learned my lesson about the bar hopping on a bike years ago... a story for another day. This aint a drinking trip, its a political/learning trip.... http://mrf.org... if you are curious. 3-4 hundred of us gather to teach and learn how to keep motorcycles legal and from being hit by cars.

Hoping for cooler weather, living near Phoenix, that shouldnt be too hard to do... and talk about timing, a guy from this board is dropping off a machine Saturday morning, and I leave Sunday. Soooo..... when I get back, I will be trying to fix this one so guess who will be posting pics and questions :)

Traveling and meeting such a large group on a mission should be an enriching and enjoyable experience to be remembered. Have a great and safe time on the road. :137-

It is..... I went to more of these back east when living there.... at this one, I have many friends that will be there that I have not seen for 10 years or more. I hope to take the camera and snag some photos. The big discussions this time will be the EPA trying to go after bike emissions and noise, and discrimination.....

The Holiday Inn is full, but a few babes I know within the MRF found me my own room there..... so its all great. Now, the best part of a run like this, for people like me, is the total solitude... no one near you, no phones or computers, and no one can interupt the fantastic music blairing from the stereo on my bike..... total solitude.

Have a safe trip.  If you weren't already from a slot friendly state I'd say catch up with Dan of Dangames, you won't be too far from him.  I'm sure he'd give you a good deal, but getting it back on the back of a bike probably wouldn't be much fun!

Not sure about the wx down south, but we had frost on the ground this AM in the northern lower peninsula of MI.  It'll definitely be cooler than AZ...I promise!

weather... ya, its that time of the year... will have to haul the leather jacket and chaps and gloves for the cooler weather.

I was contacted by some folks I know on the way, they wanna meet up and ride along for a hundred or so miles.... might be fun.

Capt... there is also something to be said for taking a break from all the instant info the computer offers..... I get overwhelmed with all the politics etc going on, 300-400 miles a day with no more than Led Zeppilen blasting will be very enjoyable....

But, if I do check in, it will be good too.
