Title: Odyssey ROM board x2 needed? Post by: cfh on September 26, 2010, 10:06:12 AM I picked up a four Odyssey slots and i'll be darned if
every one of them was missing a board on the PC. It's the board with the RAM clear switch and the LEDs. Not sure what that board is called? but why would it be missing? (because someone stole them! ha!) Pulled the PC out and tried to boot the computer outside of the Odyssey shell, hooked up to a standard PC monitor. Nothing happens (aside from the power supply turning on and spinning the fan). I suspect the BIOS is on that board. Because it sure appears there's no BIOS on the motherboard itself. but anyway if anyone has one or two of these boards i sure would like to buy them. Could also use a coin comparitor, a hopper, and two DBV stackers. (out of the four Odysseys i'm trying to get 2 working.) thanks! Title: Re: Odyssey ROM board x2 needed? Machine will not boot without it and as you noted the MB is missing the BIOS or has it shut off. The DBV parts will be hard to find too. Hopper was a 750 same as WMS 400 series. LA slots had parts too for sale but they are picky on who they sell to. Title: Re: Odyssey ROM board x2 needed? I believe you already know what I have available... |
